A Love That Will Last - Wai Mun & Sharon

I have chosen my girls and now I have to start another round of mind boggling challenge of looking for the right outfit for my girls. I would love them to be looking all pretty and prim on my day! A lot of jokes has been made about bridesmaid outfit! But I never would one any of my girls to look bad on my day! I look good if they look good too! That is my theory! Don't want them to march in the aisle looking ridiculous! So I sat down to actually go through my list of options that I have!

I have to decide on what color of dress to choose and the answer is according to my theme, PINK & LILAC! My Maid of honor has found her Pink dress and therefore my other bridesmaids will go into the lilac dress (that my cousin sis is very much thankful for (; ) Now where to get my lilac dress??? I would have to find some good recommendation for them to buy it from. Matter of fact this is the most challenging part of the whole entire process, there are more pink dresses then purple ones so to say! Finally I landed on something that would give a head start to all my girls, this is the dress that I am actually looking for them.

I am still open to a lot of suggestions, as long as the dress falls into this categories, this color, I wouldn't mind if you guys have any other suggestions of the pattern of the dress. Because I do not expect everybody to like this dress as much as I do but then I am ok for you girls who wanted something pattern else.

Shoes! It is simple thing, we girls have tonnes of collection of shoes! Therefore in your collection choose something white with flowers or a ribbon on it will do. Ditto ;)

Not that difficult. Because I do not want to burden my friends to go around searching for "that pair" of shoes, because this are always illusive when we want to look for it. Therefore shoes are simple! White will go perfectly well with the lilac dress and there you go pretty and prim.

I must say that i find this pretty difficult to do, as initially I already have a few people in mind! In fact going through who I wanted to really be on my list, I realize something, I have more guys friends as in compare to girlfriends. Plus the girlfriends that I am close with, few is married! Therefore it is quite difficult to actually determine the ones that really wouldn't mind being my girls.

I thank God that me and my sis has always been the best of friends and naturally the role MAID OF HONOR would actually go to her! She has seen my butt-naked butt more times that anybody in this world, I have little reservation when it comes to who is my Maid of Honor! Sis.. Karyn Ng... You have the privilege of playing that role and thank you for making my burden so much more lesser when it comes to finding one to fill this shoe!

Nevertheless, my girls, my bridesmaid is as important! They are the pretties in my special big day. Therefore I thank you for actually filling in for me the moment I ask, I am touched to have you girl by my side to actually go with me on the occasion, because not every person can be chosen to be, I want people who is genuinely happy to be and not grumble at the end and I am happy to know you girls wont (won't you??)

FINALLY DONE! This part we find it most difficult! Somehow we believe that this is God's leading us to find the florist after knowing that we have gone through difficult extremes to find the person who has the ability and to reasonably do it. We went to "Hell-Rude Florist" "Corporation" and got spiked BUT am glad that we finally find this one! Not only did the auntie in the shop nicely explained to us how it should be done, but also she discuss with us, and offer us what they could possibly do to comply to our needs.

There are definitely a few touch-ups to smooth-en things out in which is still delayed till now, like its now up to my side now to suggest what are the flowers that we wanted! And I am going to commit to doing it by the end of this month because the days are counting itself down and our big day is drawing near! Aww that is just too overexciting! Below are some pictures that we will get for that day!

The whole process of looking for the right florist might sound easy BUT NO! It wasn't! We went through the most agonizing process! Matter of fact it was the one side funny the other side baffling!

Finding the proper person to do as required is indeed difficult because to a lot of florist it is a very absurd idea! But fine! These people can eventually tell us that they could not do and professionally introduce us to a better idea! But no! Here is the worst encounter and the name of the florist that we inquire!

The only word that crosses my mind when I type this is WTF! We made the appointment to meet her up three days before and she sounded rude on the phone! But I thought "Alright, maybe she is busy at that moment" and nothing else. When the day came! We arrived at the shop! The shop seems really nice and fully furnished elegantly! So we were pleased by the outlook! BUT DO NOT BE FOOL! This shop is full of pretty outsides ONLY! When we asked for the person in charge, she was busy doing some writing and talking to the helper! And didn't even bothered to talk to me! When she was done like 15 minutes later! Here is the conversation:

Star Garden: "Hi EUNICE!"

Me: "EUNICE??!!??"

Star Garden: "Oh Sorry, you are?????"

Me: Sharon! (I was like "DAMN! DIDN'T I CALL TO MAKE APPOINTMENT! AND YOU ARE NOT AWARE OF WHO YOU MAKE APPOINTMENT WITH")

Star Garden: OK! Come In! (She grasp whatever or some sort)

Me: Hi... We are looking for wedding centerpieces for our wedding

Star Garden: Tell me what you want (Busy writing AGAIN into some big log book)

Me: (Explain the idea to her)

Star Garden: This kind of idea!!!! You want MYR20, MYR30, MYR40 or MYR50 centerpieces??

Me: I am not experience! In your opinion, in order to achieve this how much do you need??

Star Garden: You must know what you want!!!!!! OK! OK! MYR50!

Me: MYR50? What kind of flowers will you use, if you dont mind telling me? Give me some examples

Star Garden: I dunno yet! (Fumbling to her computer) I can use any flowers! (She get busy calculating and THROW the calculator so hard on the table!!!)

Me: Well ok! So how is ur arrangement like, we need your expertise and we are ok to pay!

Star Garden: (Still busy calculating and showing me the price! Then she throw her hands up and say) IF YOU ARE INTERESTED THEN GIVE ME A CALL!

What the hell men! If you cannot do it, then let me know! If you have no patience then don't do business! We came with humbleness to ask for your opinion and am interesting in engaging a florist who is willing to help us! I totally change my mind about florist from that day onwards! And to add to that we did not even bargain the prices with you and am willing to pay if you could do us a good job! But then no! You choose to insult us with your immaturity and rude attitude! Forever you will go down as our list of "PLEASE DONT GO TO THAT FLORIST ON THE ROAD" list!

As we finished, we still politely thank her for her time spend but yet she didnt bother to send us out, she just stood in her room like some big boss and look on as we walk out! Come on Bitch! If you care to do business next time put on your door sign "I ONLY DO EASY, EXPANSIVE, DATUKs & DATINs BUSINESS ONLY) Wake up!

Been there! Done That! Now waiting for the date!

We made a trip to Jabatan Pendaftaran Negara (JPN) Putrajaya & got our date for ROM.

Trip there was OK! To see at least one part of the country is so organized and pretty. So the date is set and we shall now wait for it to arrive so that it will then go down into our books as the historical day of our life.. Ha! Ha!

We now can give a relief sigh of happiness. We are done with the invitation card and seating cards cum wishing card. Both of us wanted something simple, something sweet yet something elegant romantic to represent our garden floral theme.

We didnt really sweat at all with sourcing for the cards designers, we both already have in mind who to call and turn out ok! We wouldn's say everything is pleasant but then those small annoying quarks doesnt really gets us! We have both met a lot of dramatic poor business skill people during our wedding preparation, I will surely give a full detail lo-down on these people. Anyway the works we got from this card shop is satisfying. We do recommend any folks who is looking for handmade cards, scrapbooks, company brochures and other stationery for weddings to look for them.
