We waited until ten day prior, that we booked our cake. Finally it is done! One more thing to strike out of our list! I am glad that we are actually nearing to wrapping up all final preparations of the wedding. Looking at the list of things to do, although it seems we still have a number of things to do but then when it comes to cake, we wanted something special but not too expansive. We do not want wastage, therefore we went round to source for the most delicious cake.
I found a few wedding cake vendor and went to have a look at it. If you are looking for something more exclusive and nice, you should try "Choffles Wedding Cake Studio" their cake is hand-make and exclusive. They can make up to 5 tier of cake. But booking must be made 3 months ahead & the price they are charging - MYR500-MYR1000 per tier! Depending on the design. What we do not like is that, they are using butter sponge cake! So basically is nice cake but nothing special with the taste! But I believe that some people would go for this because what matters is look nice! What more they have that kind of money to splash!
We were told that RT Pastry makes nice cake! But then service is very much important! Your service speaks more of you than your product! We went to RT Subang and the service was less than good! The person behind the counter do not speak English or Cantonese! Therefore communication will be a challenge here! Plus there are like 5 to 6 staffs standing behind the counter and it seems that the only person able to explain the cake deal is the person in charge of the cashier! When I ask her about wedding cake, she took up and brochure and told me to have a look at the paper and then she was too busy to even talk to me about it! So thank you very much, if you are more concern with people buying two pieces of bread from your shop and am definitely not going to put my MYR1000 into your shop! RT please train your staffs!
At the end after walking into a few more shops not worth explaining, we ended up with good old taste and the moment we tasted it, we like it instantly. We settle for White Chocolate Macadamia. Just love the taste of the white chocolate and I believe that my guest would enjoy the rich taste of the white chocolate and the nice macadamia nut. Enjoyzzz....
