A week now.....

We are married for a week. The time now is 2.32pm & its raining cats & dogs now. The exact same time last week, we are still rushing to and fro to get things done and praying and hoping that the rain would not fall. That was last week because this week we are going to church in a while and rain will not bother us as much anymore.

At this time, we are at the bridal suit getting my make-up done.
(Thanks Cindy, for arriving early to help me take pix and open doors & etc)

We are indeed thankful that everything turns out to be alright. We had heard so many praises about how nice and cozy the wedding is. Although deep down in our hearts there must have been a thousand thing that we can do right! There are so many photographs that we did not take, people that we did not manage to thank, there are a few people we did not even say hi to and messages that we forgot to make sure people write. Anyway everything went perfectly well, although we lost our unity candle. Hubby encouraged me not to reflect on the negative & things that do not happened, we cannot go back in time but to only take the best of the memories and store it for the rest of our life.

I believe that we have all settle down and how is married life? I guess nothing much changed except that now I am a wife. We no longer rush here and there to get things done and we are more relaxed. We really do miss that time. Its like 5 months of intensive planning to make 1 day beautiful and that one day is now past. People that I wished I have photographs with are pastor, the music team, my maid of honor & the best man! I think in the midst of rushing we have actually left out a lot of things. I will not touch on what we do not get from the hotel. This is entirely our part.

We are supposed to thank a long list of people, but due to people "MALAYSIANS" started to leave once their stomachs are filled, we have to cut out most of the speech part to make it short so that people will not get bored. Malaysian crowd are still very new to this western wedding style, therefore they do not mingle, their purpose are just stuffing themselves full and ditto! Nothing else to do. They do not respond well too when ask a questions.... What more a clap??!!?? Maybe they are shy.... Well no wonder we always think that we are less compare to the westerners! We must learn to speak up and learn to let lose and have fun (;

The band didn't even manage to play their full session. In fact there are so many songs that we have selected for everybody to chill and just drink the night away! But then that is ok! We would have expected. What matters most is that we have kick-start our marriage life in a style we both love and we are now gearing up for pre-honeymoon..... Woo-hoo......
